Drag finishing and centrifugal finishing equipment is used for deburring and polishing components. In this process the work pieces are mounted on special work piece holders and dragged in a circular planetary motion in a container filled with grinding and polishing abrasive media. The stationary media strikes the work piece and slides off leading to a grinding process with very short cycle times and high precision edges and/or very high finishes, drag finishing equipment is used, for example, to deburr, to round edges, and to polish many different workpieces, such as watch housings, heavy jewelry rings, forming and cutting tools, implants and dies, etc.
